About

Mr. John Baptise Akanwake is a Principal Research Assistant at the Legon Centre for Education Research and Policy, College of Education, University of Ghana. John holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography & Resource Development with Economics and an MPhil in Climate Change and Sustainable Development, both from the University of Ghana. His research interest is in climate change vulnerability, climate change adaptation and mitigation, food security, climate change and health, climate change and education, and environmental sustainability. As a principal research assistant, John has been on several projects including: Differentiated Learning in Ghanaian Basic Schools, Impact Evaluation for the Ghana Accountability for Learning Outcome, Field Scoping for the Quality Learning Outcomes: the WHOLE-School. Other projects he has worked on includes WHOLE-Community Approach Project, the Ghana Technical Universities Graduate Employability Outcomes and Satisfaction Survey project among others.
