Dr. Innocent S.K. Agbelie is a Development and Environmental Economist at the Legon Centre for Education Research and Policy (LECERP), University of Ghana. He attained his PhD in Development Studies and MPhil in Economics from the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research (ISSER) and the Economics Department, University of Ghana in 2023 and 2012 respectively. Dr. Agbelie engages in interdisciplinary research, collaborating with experts from diverse study fields to address issues related to sustainable development and inclusivity in policymaking. His recent works encompass action-oriented research, policy analysis, and consultancy, focusing on urban resilience, sustainable energy, social protection, and the transformative potential of educational technology and financing. He is particularly passionate about advancing sustainable development strategies that address the critical intersections of digital education, environmental stewardship, and societal progress. Committed to impactful change, Dr. Agbelie collaborates with national and international partners to design and implement solutions that promote resilience and inclusivity in Ghana. His contributions are shaping practices that drive meaningful progress toward a sustainable and equitable future.
